About Event

Recognizing the relevance of biotechnology in the post-pandemic era, ‘BioZion- The Biotech Capstone-Science-Society Interface’ is trying to bring together great minds around the world and thus inspire early career researchers and research scholars to pursue the field and set a new benchmark in the Indian Biotechnology sector. This will be the best platform for plant and animal biotechnologists along with social scientists to network and collaborate for future interdisciplinary endeavours. The workshop is open to all for knowledge and experience sharing. The workshop will be jointly organised by the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Kerala Agricultural University, Thiruvananthapuram and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram.

There will be oral and poster presentation sessions and the attendees will have the possibility to interact with the keynote speaker, guest speakers and participants. From captivating guest lectures to learning hands-on skills through workshops; from engaging departmental activities and competitions to enthralling cultural nights, and from meeting illustrious individuals to understanding science as never before, there will be much more for everyone to enjoy.
